The

Viking Masters

, a competition series highlighting the unique qualities of Icelandic horses, continues its 2025 season with two upcoming qualifying events:

  • Gestüt Ellenbach: February 8–9, 2025
  • Landgestüt Zweibrücken: February 22–23, 2025

The series will conclude with the final event on March 15, 2025, at the Westfälisches Pferdezentrum in Münster-Handorf, where top riders will compete in a showcase of skill and horsemanship.

Join Us at Gestüt Ellenbach – February 8, 2025

Horses of Iceland invites you to the second qualifier at Gestüt Ellenbach, an event for both horse enthusiasts and those new to the Icelandic horse world.

Here’s what’s planned:

  • Riding and Demonstrations: Starting around 15:00, visitors can try riding an Icelandic horse or watch demonstrations by the skilled team at Gestüt Ellenbach. (Please note this timing might change,

  • Competition Viewing: Arrive earlier to enjoy the excitement of the competition and see the distinctive gaits of these remarkable horses.
  • Photo Opportunity:

    Register through our form

    by February 5, 2025, to receive a voucher for a photograph with or on an Icelandic horse.
  • Food and Beverages: Refreshments will be available for purchase on site.
