FussNEKI

is a unique charity initiative in Romania where participants combine fitness with philanthropy. Founded in 2018, the event invites people from all walks of life to run or walk for a cause, with every kilometer translating into donations for various charitable projects. Whether in teams or individually, participants choose which cause they wish to support, raising funds and awareness while promoting a healthy lifestyle.

This year, (after a few year's fight to include riding in the event) Eva András and Julia Albert are participating on Icelandic horses along with 39 other riders. Their special cause? Raising funds for the Icelandic Riding Scholarship Fund, an initiative aimed at providing equal opportunities for children who have an interest in horses and riding but face barriers such as financial constraints or developmental challenges. All children can apply and, depending on the funds raised, a selection will be made by looking at academic performance and behavior. The scholarship fund will give those children access to the world of Icelandic horses, enabling them to experience the joy and benefits of riding, something they otherwise wouldn't have had the opportunity to do.

Eva, together with her friends and supporters, is working to make this dream a reality for as many children as possible. Through their participation in Fussneki, they are collecting donations to establish the fund, aiming to bring the noble world of horse riding to talented and hardworking children who lack the financial means to pursue it.

Feel free to have a look or event to make a donation:
